Nickel Marbro Lamps
Chateau Marmont
I was fortunate to work on the restoration of the Chateau Marmont over 15 years ago. Back then I wasn't familiar with the history of the Hotel and didn't realize it's rich history until later. I do remember the young Interior Designer from New York, Fernando Santangelo, and his hard dedication. Over the years I've seen the Hotel Lobby on TV interviews and magazines and see all of those Lamps and Shades we made.
Thomas Pheasant
One of my best Clients is Thomas Pheasant of Washington DC. Mr Pheasant is one of the best Interior Designers in the country. A few years ago I made this extremely tall lamp shade for one of Mr Pheasant's Custom Fixtures. To this day it remains the tallest lamp shade I've ever constructed. It's a pleasure working for Designers like Mr Pheasant and he has one of the nicest office staffs I've ever worked for. Thomas Pheasant also designs for Baker Furniture.
Marian Jamieson
Marian Jamieson is one of my favorite friends in the industry. I met Marnie when she was working at J ROBERT SCOTT many years ago. She now manufactures her own line of reproduction lighting and it's simply one of the best lines on the market. Marnie is a perfectionist obsessed with Lighting (just like me). Her lamps can be seen at the Holly Hunt Showroom in Los Angeles and Profiles in New York.
